Greg Adams and East Bay Soul 2.0 Underway
Greg Adams and East Bay Soul 2.0 is Fan Funded!
Greg Adams and East Bay Soul are working on a new CD East Bay Soul 2.0. Greg used the Funding Platform of Kickstarter.com. The concept is to fund and follow creatively. The goal was simple, ask friends, fans, and family to contribute to the project, and their contributions would be met with rewards from Greg and the band. The rewards ranged from a copy of the new CD, prior to its official release, to a signed hand written replication of the 1981 Grammy nominated score of “What Is Hip?”, the famous Tower Of Power classic, originally arranged by Greg himself and recreated for the Direct LP on Sheffield Labs, as well as many other items. The project reached it’s goal on August 10th and them some!
Recording for the project East Bay Soul 2.0 will begin in the next couple weeks at Carmen Grillo’s “Big Surprise Studio” in Encino CA. Songs are still be written as of this moment. To follow the project from beginning to end, Greg has created a Backers Blog for everyone to view. Here is the link to the blog: East Bay Soul 2.0.
